We are invited to physically immerse ourselves within this uncanny being, to enmesh our bodies in its inscrutable mass. When Tomorrow Comes continues Random International’s exploration of how we— as human beings—respond physically, instinctively and emotionally to perceived new intelligences within our domain. The work echoes aspects of our reality where the environment around us has become increasingly smart, to that point where its potential sentience is seemingly within reach. Through this work, an evolution of the Life In Our Minds series, Random International aims to give physicality and substance to the dialogue between human and machine, algorithm and neurochemistry.
