Radius is a sound-reactive installation that comprises a multitude of light sources, controlled individually on a y-axis.

The display can communicate image, text or pattern through the spatial arrangement of light sources, in such a way that would not be allowed for by a customary, flat arrangement of LEDs.

Radius introduces a third dimension to this more conventional concept of a display. The installation has become tangibly integrated with the architecture of its surroundings.

An organism, created by the algorithm controlling the illumination, is made manifest in the shadows the installation casts and plays upon itself.
